Rebranding the LSCB!

Following the recent 'Working Together To Safeguarding 2018' being published and the abolishment of LSCB's, we are rebranding to reflect the integration of teams happening within St. Helens Safeguarding.

In St Helens, we believe that children should be involved in all our work. Children know best what makes them feel safe, listened to and involved, and we think it’s our job to listen and to act on what we’re told so we can show we’re making a difference.

Therefore we are asking for help from our children and young people living within the borough to help us choose our new name. We’d like a name that is easy to remember and makes sure that everyone can see that keeping children safe is our main priority!

Do the children you work with have a good idea for our new name? Maybe you could work with the young people to decide on a new name for us! If so ask them to go to the Home Page and click on the red thought bubble on the right hand side of the page.

We’ll choose our new name in September and let your schools know whose name was the winner.

Thank you!
